Inspired by the space where digital and physical forms meet, Wang & Söderström’s Boulder Bookend is a decorative and functional object that serves as a miniature piece of art.
The organically shaped 3D model is first developed in the designers’ studio, before the bookend is 3D printed and moulded in porcelain at a ceramic factory. Boulder can be used for supporting books on shelves or desks in many different spaces and contexts.
Wang & Söderström is a Copenhagen-based transdisciplinary creative duo composed of Swedish designer Anny Wang and architect Tim Söderström.
