Louis Poulsen Keglen Floor Lamp

Architect Bjarke Ingels & the design team from BIG Ideas initially created the crisp, minimal Keglen pendant in collaboration with Louis Poulsen in 2017.

Keglen Floor builds on the same design language as the Ø400 Keglen Pendant. The lamp stem morphs into the bottom of the diffuser and creates a beautiful organic geometry, as with the Keglen Table lamps. The stem and base are designed to be as graphic and minimal as the cone-shaped shade.

Keglen Floor is available in black or white, with a matt, wet painted finish that creates a play of light and reflections from the surroundings in daytime when the lamp is switched off.

“The geometric and metallic shades have a soft, organic glass insert that resembles a drop of water. In the table and floor versions, the glass insert meets the lamp stem and flows organically around it like liquid exhibiting surface tension.”
